A personal letter from Michael Hurley II, recipient of the 2005 Richard Foster Scholarship in Urban Forestry

Dear Richard Foster,

I am writing to thank you for the Richard Foster Scholarship in Urban Forestry for the second semester. I cannot tell you how much it means to me. It will help me a lot in my final phase at Virginia Tech. I will be graduating in December and with the help of your scholarship I will be able to finish with a little less financial burden.

I am very fortunate to have been able to attend the best college in Virginia . The college of Natural Resources couldn't be any better. My degree in Urban Forestry from Tech will help me get a job that I probably couldn't have gotten had I attended another school.

Again, thank you for your support and if there is anything that I can do for you please let me know.
