Bay Creek’s Poker League 7pm in the Cabana Room. The league will take place one Thursday a month. Food and drinks are available for a minimal charge. Play Texas Hold-em, tournament style poker. Prizes will be awarded each month to first and second places. The league will run for 6 months and there will be a “Final Table” tournament on Thursday, July 10th for the highest point leaders. Attendance is not required for all 6 months, but you will accrue points each month that qualify you for the final tournament. Guest Speaker, Dennis Custis, will provide an overview of the “Eastern Shore History: Part 2 of 2.” Dennis taught in the Accomack County schools for 34 years and retired from Nandua High School as Principal. He currently teaches History of the Eastern Shore at the Eastern Shore Community College. 7:00 pm. No charge. Cabana Room at Bay Creek, 5 Marina Village Circle. Virginia’s Historic Garden Walk. The Bennett’s House in Plantation Pointe of Bay Creek Resort & Club will be the first house featured in the Virginia’s Historic Garden Walk that is located inside a gated community. For more details about the Garden Walk, please visit www.vagardenweek.org.
