Where is Bay Creek located?

Bay Creek is conveniently located on the southern-most tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore in Cape Charles. Norfolk International Airport is approximately 45 miles from Cape Charles and Accomack County Airport in Melfa is just one half-hour away. How large will the Bay Creek Community be when completed?

Bay Creek stretches across an expanse of 1,729 acres with approximately 6.5 miles of preserved waterfront and wetlands, including the Chesapeake Bay, King's Creek and Old Plantation Creek. The homes will eventually number approximately 2700.

Who is the developer?

Baymark Construction is the developer of Bay Creek. Baymark has built many award-winning communities in the Hampton Roads area. Each Baymark community provides exceptional environments in which to live by preserving the natural environments in which they are built.

Bay Creek offers a variety of home designs reflecting the Eastern Shore style of architecture. Choose a Designer Approved home in the Bay Creek Golf Resort, or in the Marina Villages create your own custom home featuring British West Indies architecture. How do I build my dream home in Bay Creek?

Whether "your plans or ours," all residential plans are submitted for approval to the architectural review committee. This rigorous process ensures that the developer's standards are enforced on behalf of the entire resort. Bay Creek works with those Preferred (or approved) Builders whose passion for excellence is complemented by their demonstrated commitment to assisting the developer in maintaining the resort's high architectural standards and responsible construction processes.

Is financing available?

Yes. Every aspect of financing from lot acquisition through construction lending and permanent financing is achievable.

What memberships will Bay Creek offer its residents?

Bay Creek offers a variety of membership levels to its residents. Access to world class golf, a protected harbor with a state of the art 224-slip marina, a proposed beach club, scenic walking and jogging trails are a sampling of the benefits of memberships. In addition, Bay Creek will offer a community activity center featuring a Jr. Olympic-size swimming pool and tennis courts. Retail shops and restaurants are located in the Marina Resort. A proposed Resort Inn and Spa will be added to the mix in the near future.

Who designed the golf courses at Bay Creek?

Bay Creek offers two 18-hole championship golf courses. The Arnold Palmer Signature Course has already been recognized as one of magazine's "Top Ten You Can Play," and as the 86th Best Course in America according to Golf Digest. A par-72 course, it measures approximately 7,244 yardss from back tees and 5,266 from front tees.

If Jack Nicklaus’ mark on the 20th Century was his golf game, his legacy in the 21st Century will be his golf course design. Breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay and Old Plantation Creek, acres of natural dunes and more than 100 bunkers highlight Jack’s latest design.  The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course measures 7417 yards.  Both courses offer five strategically placed sets of tees guaranteed to make golf fun and challenging for players of all skill levels.

What will the Marina at Bay Creek offer?

The Marina Resort at Bay Creek when complete will feature 224 slips in a sheltered, deep water harbor providing excellent year-round weather protection (contact the harbormaster for latest navigation instructions). Phase I of the Marina is open featuring 120 slips, and provides immediate access to the Intercostal Waterway the unspoiled blue-green waters of the lower Chesapeake Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean.

When is the sales office open?

• Daily, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m during daylight savings time.
